Man, I haven't updated these things in ages. So...
For those of you who don't know me very well, I'm a Where the Wild Things Are fanatic. So I went to the midnight screening as well as the IMAX screening on the opening day(in me wolf suit of course). And, wow was I not disappointed. The film blew me away, the opening montage had me convinced that I had nothing to worry about and put a grin on my face. The film was very well done, definitely not made for kids in mind, dark and very emotional. It was such a touching and wonderful take on "Where the Wild Things Are." I left the theaters happy and enjoyed it even more the second time in IMAX.
I was also interviewed in my Max costume by IMAX on opening day.
You can see it here:

I had also read the novel by Dave Eggers, which I enjoyed immensely. It was even darker than the film, overall a great read.
I drew an 8 page "Where the Wild Things Are" comic for my Storytelling class, which I will put up in the near future.
Hope you all had a great Halloween!
